The Luxury Boudoir Session Process - Step by Step
Step 1 – Your Phone Consultation
A simple chat on the phone... the easiest way to start a conversation. A time to ask all the questions with no commitment necessary! Jennifer Daniels Photography is a woman-owned business with years of experience. We will walk you through the whole process as you learn more about the uplifting fun that will surround you during a Boudoir session with Jennifer Daniels.
Step 2 - Booking Your Photo Shoot
During your phone consultation, you will have the opportunity to book your Luxury Boudoir Photography Session. When you decide to book your session, the fun begins as you prepare for your photo shoot! You are about to have an experience like no other. An experience that you will never forget! Jennifer Daniels Photography is a stress-free and judgment-free zone where you can relax and be yourself. You may consider shopping for new lingerie to prepare for your Boudoir session. We highly recommend Sultry for those in North Alabama as they offer an exquisite variety of lingerie. You can never go wrong with a black teddy or a sexy body stocking (they seriously look great on everyone). We will walk you through your wardrobe choices before your session and even send you a prep guide beforehand! While we do not provide lingerie for our clients for hygienic reasons, we offer a client closet available for your session that features over 200 accessory items to add to your existing lingerie. Our client closet includes Old Hollywood Robes, Body Jewelry, Angel Wings, and more! We know that choosing lingerie can be a daunting task, but we are here to step you through it!
Step 3 - Day of the Photo Shoot
The day of your Luxury Boudoir Photography Session has finally arrived! Please know that almost every single woman that has visited our private Boudoir studio was nervous when she walked in. We are here to support you while you leap outside of your comfort zone. There is a story and journey behind every woman and every photograph. Any nervous energy you have walking in will be put at ease as we pamper you and begin with a professional hair and make-up session.
Next, we'll look at the intimate wardrobe selection you brought and see if you'd like to choose from any of our VIP Accessories to add to your existing look. For our VIPs (Very Important Peaches), accessories are the glitter on top (or the feather trim). They include items like our beautiful angel wings, old Hollywood feather robes, jewelry, and more!
Once you are Boudoir-ready, Jennifer Daniels will lead you to one of the luxurious sets in our private Boudoir studio, where there is beautiful natural light, high ceilings, and the opportunity to capture gorgeous and tasteful glam portraits. Jennifer will pose you from the top of your head to the tip of your toes. She will direct you on how to make your facial expressions and ensure you are as comfortable as possible. Even those that are camera shy will feel confident, beautiful, and empowered in front of the camera.
Step 4 - The Big Reveal
Prepare to be stunned as you see the results of your gorgeous Boudoir session! Every woman has different opinions and desired outcomes when it comes to editing. Retouching is absolutely included in the experience if you so choose. We will view every image together at your reveal to discuss all of the details!
One of the things Jennifer loves best about her job is the reveal! She sees how beautiful you are throughout the shoot, but now you get to see for yourself! Clients are often unprepared for how genuinely sexy and gorgeous they are. It's a moment of rediscovery (and a few tears!).
Step 5 - Your Custom Boudoir Collection & Art Pieces
The final step is to receive your finished portraits! We have many out of town clients, and we know your lives are very busy! Therefore we are more than happy to have your custom order shipped directly to your doorstep, or we can have it ready for pickup at the studio if you're trying to keep it a surprise! Whether this art is a gift for someone special or just for you, your Boudoir photographs and custom artwork will last a lifetime and be a steadfast reminder of the unique and courageous woman you are!
